Saranya:  Wow, it is a great expression, I loved it.  I wrote two poems and posted on sulekha sometime back, bringing some sentiments.  As you said, love is absolutely undefinable.  It is a continuum with no boundaries, of space, age, colour, religion, for that matter anything.

defination of love, i think it depends on the kind of love being talked about. Mother's love, father's, sibling's, or life partner's, they all have explicit defination. unfortunately, in english there's just one word "love". but, as you said, onething is for sure, love is not what makes you cry but it is wht makes you smile.
